Laura McTaggart, Chief Architect/Our Swiss Army Knife, is a multi-talented executive with a successful track record developing marketing strategies, business case development and managing P&L's, and leading operational teams. Her background includes over ten years of marketing and merchandising experience with CarMax, the Auto Superstore, and with clients in the professional services, travel, and retail industries. She also brings significant experience in Customer Relationship Management through her responsibilities leading a strategic, data-driven retail customer relations department.

Laura has developed and implemented segment marketing solutions to optimize marketing, procurement and corporate citizenship functions for her clients. She is an Adjunct Professor with the Virginia Commonwealth University's Executive MBA Program and serves on several nonprofit boards of directors.

Laura served four years on active duty in the Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer. She received her BA in English from University of Michigan and her MBA from Harvard Business School.

Laura likes to run and read books, but not at the same time. This dedicated NPR listener says her dream vacation would be hiking and eating her way across Tuscany. She resides in Boston with her cats, Tigger and Charlotte, and a big mutt named Mitch.
